LABOR, YOUR WAY

Heavy item lifting

Request help with bulky furniture, appliances or other heavy belongings. Weight, dimensions and the route matter as much as the number of pieces.

The right help for the job

A heavy item should be reviewed before a crew is scheduled. A treadmill on a ground floor is a different project from the same treadmill on a narrow staircase. Photos and model information help identify whether special equipment or a different service is needed.

What you can request

  • Large household furniture
  • Exercise equipment and bulky pieces
  • Appliance positioning when disconnected
  • Heavy items reviewed before acceptance

Before the crew arrives

  • Approximate weight, dimensions and model
  • Photos of the item and access route
  • Stairs, landings and doorway measurements
  • Whether the item can be taken apart
Do you accept every heavy item?

No. Acceptance depends on the item, its condition and access. Safes, pianos and specialty items need advance review. Do not disconnect gas, electrical or plumbing connections as part of a labor request.

How do I get a useful estimate?

Send the date, address and item list. Include access details and any requested materials. The team confirms crew size, availability, minimum job size and the estimate before scheduling.
